Stellar Homes major sponsors of Monster Trucks Rumble

Stellar Homes is the major sponsor of the upcoming Monster Trucks Rumble, which is being held at Wayville Show Grounds on Saturday 13 February 2010. As part of our promotions, we are holding a “pick a brick” charity drive, whereby event attendees can pick a brick for a $2 donation for the chance to win a variety of prizes, including a ride in one of the Monster Trucks, and a ½ hour helicopter ride. There are 2000 foam bricks for the picking. There are also Monster Truck show bags at stalls around the events.

Stellar Homes director Darryn Peter says a distinctive attribute of this house is its central atrium.

"The atrium acts as a private oasis within the home, bringing natural light into the centre, and also providing a common natural outlook for the rooms surrounding it. At night it is transformed into a glowing light box through the use of blue LED lights," he says.
Another stand-out feature is the home theatre room, which has a curved ceiling with optic lighting to form a night-sky effect. Combined with plush seating and dimmable lighting, this creates a complete cinema experience.

 

A clever design incorporates an upper level within the roof space of the residence. This provides the extra rooms usually found in a double-storey home, in situations where planning or space issues prevent the inclusion of an upper floor. Dormer windows installed in the roof provide light and ventilation to these upper-level rooms, which also surround the central atrium.
