Stellar Homes ‘Design and Construction’ process
Stage 1
Our initial design process is complimentary. Meet with one of Stellar Homes’ designers to commence customising a concept design to capture your ideas, dreams and lifestyle.
Stage 2
Once you are happy with the concept plan, Stellar Homes commences the process of pricing. A preliminary agreement is offered which allows us to provide a fixed price (including footings) which won't lock you into a contract.
Stage 3
With Stage 1 and Stage 2 being satisfied, the next stage is putting together a contract in preparation for submitting your new house plans to council for relevant approvals. This is a suitable time to commence arranging the financial aspect of building. If you require finance, Stellar Homes will also provide you with a ‘bank pack’ which your bank will require when processing your application. Our payment system will be explained in your building contract and will be discussed with you by one of our friendly staff.
Stage 4
While your plans are being processed through council it is now time to start the selection process. While this process can be overwhelming, it does not need to be. Stellar Homes has its very own Selection and Design Centre located in-house showcasing a wide range of standard selections as well as upgrade options with individual attention provided by our consultants to guide you through.
Stage 5
A builder’s interview with our consultant will be arranged to finalise your selections prior to commencing any building works.
Stage 6
Once approvals have been received by council, our construction team will be in contact with you to advise you of the proposed commencement date for construction.
Stage 7
During the construction of your home our Project Manager will contact you at the particular Quality Assurance Stages to invite you to inspect progress and provide you with the opportunity to walk through and discuss any building queries you may have. This is a service rarely offered by other builders.
Stage 8
At construction completion our Project Manager will contact you to complete a handover of your new home. On completion of your handover, a Practical Completion Certificate will be supplied along with our handover information packages.
Stellar Homes also offers a 25 year structural guarantee and a 3 months maintenance period to give you peace of mind.
